Carlo Cipriani is a PhD candidate in Information Technology at the Politecnico di Milano. He received his MSc in Bioinformatics for Computational Genomics from Politecnico di Milano and Università degli Studi di Milano in 2021, being among the first graduates of this Master’s program, and his BSc in Computer Science Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. He is conducting his PhD research at the Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy – San Raffaele Hospital, in Milan, where he develops bioinformatic methods to enhance the efficacy and safety of Gene Therapy. His research interests include viral vector integration site analysis and machine learning algorithms to study the origins of cell-free DNA.
