Simone Tomè is a PhD student at the coMputational multI-omics of Neurological Disorders (MIND) laboratory, a joint research platform between Politecnico di Milano and Neurological Institute ‘Carlo Besta’. He received his MSc and BSc degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Under the supervision of Prof. Marco Masseroli, defended the MSc thesis titled “Unraveling tumor-stroma interactions in colorectal cancer through gene co-expression network analysis“. Currently, his research focuses on applying machine learning to study the possible association between genetic and phenotypic data in patients with chronic pain. His research interests include machine learning and bioinformatics.
